FG, STATES, LG SHARES N1.818TRN REVENUE FOR JUNE

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has distributed N1.818 trillion in revenue among the Federal Government, 36 states, and 774 Local Government Councils for June 2025. This represents a 9.6% increase from the N1.659 trillion shared in May 2025.

Revenue Breakdown:

  • Statutory Revenue: N1.018 trillion
  • Value Added Tax (VAT): N631.507 billion
  • Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL): N29.165 billion
  • Exchange Rate Difference: N38.849 billion
  • Non-Mineral Revenue Augmentation: N100 billion

Allocation Summary:

  • Federal Government: N645.383 billion
  • State Governments: N607.417 billion
  • Local Governments: N444.853 billion
  • 13% Derivation to Oil-Producing States: N120.759 billion

The FAAC noted significant increases in Companies Income Tax (CIT), Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT), and EMTL collections in June. However, revenues from Oil and Gas Royalties, VAT, Import and Excise Duties, and CET Levies recorded notable declines ¹.
