GANDUJE STEPS DOWN AS APC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN
Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, has resigned from his position, according to sources within the party. The development comes amid speculation and uncertainty about the reasons behind Ganduje’s resignation.
Details surrounding his resignation remain unclear, but a reliable source confirmed that Ganduje has stepped down and that the leaders will soon announce an acting chairman.
A source at the APC national headquarters described the scene as party supporters gathered in clusters, discussing the development and awaiting official confirmation from the National Working Committee.
The APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, was unavailable for comment, as he did not respond to calls.
Meanwhile, a former media aide to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, confirmed Ganduje’s resignation on his X handle, stating that the former National Chairman would be succeeded in an acting capacity by one of the party’s national vice chairmen until a substantive chairman is elected at the national convention scheduled for December 2025.
